ive heard that you can do it with a mutimeter i think if you switch it to ohms.

Im going for my Foundation licence! Finaly.

Ive heard that Perth police have just gone encrypted now about two days ago.

to me the feature difference is that the new ones can have more than 200 talk groups to one site, which is ok with the old ones if you know what you want to listen to, anyway you can overcome that with the older scanners, i would recommend the e-bay ones, they have many features and are great value for money

Not really. They could still, but the Control Centre would know that is is not a legitimate transmission.

Hi everyone, Admin here.
there is an error message that pops up after posting a new message or replying to one. I am aware of the problem and ill get on to it asap.

Please be aware that when your posting a message and click the submit button , there will be a 30 second wait before the page flips over to the message sent page. a error message will pop up saying that there was an error sending emails to users.

Our SMTP server is down again for some reason Which is the system that is used to send out emails to everyone informing that there has been a reply to a topic. if you see the error message after posting a reply or message, dont be afraid, your message has gone though and is added to the board.

Thanks guys, I do appolagise for the inconveiance, (im a shocking speller )
